The church is in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The main entrance is on Seneca between Boylston and Harvard.
King County Metro bus 2 is the closest bus stop to Seattle First Baptist.
Directions
Driving directions from I-5 northbound: - Take exit 164A for Dearborn Street/James Street/Madison Street. - Follow signs for Madison Street/Convention Place. - Turn left onto Madison Street. - Turn right onto Boylston Street, then left on Seneca. First Baptist will be on the right. From I-5 southbound: - Take exit 165B to merge onto Union Street. - Turn right onto 7th Avenue. - Take the first right onto Pike Street. - Turn right onto Boren Avenue. - Turn left onto Seneca, drive five blocks, and First Baptist will be on the right.

The closest lot is behind the church on Spring and Boylston. There are about 100 spaces at $5 all day.

Street parking is also available, but be sure to double-check the meter, as some spaces are free after 6pm, but others not until 8pm.
Church Entrance

Please be mindful that many of the entries to the performance space require the use of steps. The maps on the Seattle First Baptist website show the various entries, designating which are accessible.

Seattle First Baptist Church is accessible for those with mobility issues - they may enter via the glass doors on Harvard (between Seneca and Spring) to use the elevator; there is also a passenger drop-off zone located just outside these doors. The ramp from the parking lot on Seneca and Boylston may be used by those who have tickets in hand.

The pews have a few inches of padding on the bench, and none on the backs.

Please keep the middle aisle and ramp area clear as an accessible pathway for our guests and performers using mobility aids.

The front 3 rows are reserved for our guests with accessibility challenges, and those who are attending the performance with them.
Hearing Assistance & Interpretation

Seattle First Baptist has a hearing and listening assistance available. The system is designed for those who need help overcoming background noise, reverberation, or distance from the sound source. Please ask an usher for assistance.

If you have a smart phone, you can download the WaveCAST Audio Receiver and listen with your own headsets or through your hearing aids. Download for iOS, or Android.

STANCE strives to provide ASL Interpretation whenever possible, and to share that information on our event pages.

STANCE provides physical programs which include links to digital programs for our performances where lyrics may be read and guests may learn more the music we are performing.

Air quality and masking

Seattle First Baptist has a high quality air filtration system in place, and the airspace is large.

The balcony area is a completely separate airspace from the lower levels, and we ask that our guests who utilize this space please wear masks.

Please do not use scented personal care products (such as perfumes or essential oils) when attending our events, in order to make the space accessible to our performers and guests with allergies.

We request that audience members remain masked for our performance.

Choir members will be masked for our November performances.
