Parking
The church owns three parking lots, and more parking information may be found on the University Congregational website.

Restrooms
-
All restrooms are available to use by any gender, and are marked as such.
-
All restrooms use scented products.
Seating
-
The pews have a few inches of padding on the bench, and on the backs.
-
On the main floor, there are 14 rows of pews, and some of them are shorter to accommodate mobility aids.
-
Please keep the middle aisle and ramp area clear as an accessible pathway for our guests and performers using mobility aids.
-
The front three rows on the right are reserved for our guests who are hard of hearing, so that they can more easily see our ASL interpreters. Anyone attending the performance with these guests are also welcome to use this seating.
-
Upstairs seating is reserved for those who want to keep more distance between themselves and other guests.
-
For our performers and presenters who use mobility aids, there is a ramp to enter and exit the stage.
Hard-of-Hearing Guests
-
University Congregational has an induction loop system that uses the T-Coil mode of your hearing aids. You can get the necessary equipment just before entering the Sanctuary on the right, or ask any usher.
-
STANCE strives to provide ASL Interpretation whenever possible, and to share that information on our event pages.
-
STANCE provides physical programs which include links to digital programs for our performances where lyrics may be read and guests may learn more the music we are performing.
-
Please reach out to Robin Wilvich at robin@stanceseattle.org if you would like to know if ASL interpretation will be provided at a specific event.
Air quality and masking
-
University Congregational installed a new HVAC system in 2019 with modern specifications.
-
Please do not use scented personal care products (such as perfumes or essential oils) when attending our events, in order to assist in creating a space accessible to our performers and guests with allergies.
-
The rows in the back left are designated as a fragrance-free space.
-
We request that audience members remain masked for our performance.
-
Choir members will be masked for our full choir performances.
